Binz is a quiet residential neighborhood less than 5 miles southwest of downtown Houston. With close proximity to Rice University, Texas Southern University, and the University of Houston, Binz might be one of the most educated neighborhoods in Houston. At the very least, it’s a great option for students or faculty at any of those institutions. Not only is the neighborhood near several major universities, it’s also just north of the popular Hermann Park– a beautiful 445-acre urban landmark– and the adjoining Hermann Park Golf Course. Another standout feature of the Binz area is the wide variety of architectural styles throughout the neighborhood ranging from brick Tudor homes to ultra modern apartments and condos.
