This community grew around a large, recreational park of the same name that was home to what else, beautiful magnolias. Over 3,000 were planted when the park was developed over 100 years ago. Located in Houston's east end area, the Magnolia Park neighborhood today is home to a number of long-time residents who refer to the community simply as Magnolia. Magnolia Park is a charming neighborhood in the city of Houston with lots of history and great access to all the amenities you'd need as a resident.
