The North Shore neighborhood is an east Houston, TX community
north of Interstate 10 and east of Interstate 610. It's location outside of the perimeter and distance from downtown contributes to the more rural feel because of the area. North Shore is largely comprised of single-family homes built in the 1950s and 1970s. It's an affordable community with a little more space to spread out, with houses on larger lots, less congestion and a lower population density.
